Being a part of the health industry, we always felt that when it comes to diet and exercise people always needed proofs rather than words, so why not conduct a study and show them what they are looking for. This 3 month research study conducted at Sitara Studio , Lower Parel by Fitness Expert Swetha Jairam, Sports Nutritionist Krupali and Diabetes Expert Preeti Jain is a benchmark study done on Zumba Fitness. It’s the first ever study done in India where we focused on effect of Zumba Fitness on various health related parameters. We chose women participants in the age group of 20-41 years. The classes were held for thrice a week for one hour. The studio provided a nightclub effect that attracted many and the participants stuck to our fitness program with lot of dedication. The study is soon to be published in one of the famous journals.
We focused on analysing the following paramteres :
1. Cardiovascular endurance (stamina)
2. Muscular Endurance
5. Fat Loss
In addition to it, with the help of our nutritionists we also provided them with dietary modifications which gave us miraculous results.
